Our Strategy
As a nonprofit marketing association, Farmers' Finest will increase value and sales of premium products from Lake County by stressing direct contact between grower and consumer through point of sale materials featuring a logo and distribution systems such as farmers markets, direct sales from farmer to retail markets, and public events.
The marketing message of Farmers' Finest
will be embodied in a LOGO and used on Point of Sale materials, box
labels, promotional ads, and posters for public events.
What will Farmers'
Finest Do?
- We provide services to the local agricultural commissioner
- We encourage and support our Lake County agricultural youth
- We provide an educational booth and showcase of LCFF produce
- Promote Lake County agriculture at fairs and community events
- We support our fruit frost website
- Provide educational packets for the media, consumers, schools, and the general public.
- Sponsor and promote Lake County Agricultural conferences
- Explore new tourism markets
- Provide stickers and point of purchase cards to identify Farmers' Finest producers
- Recruit new members to participate in Farmers Finest
- Promote healthy alternative eating
Membership Categories
& Fees
- Farmers' Finest membership dues for any
person growing agricultural products in Lake County is $50.
- Farmers Finest Lifetime Membership dues for any person growing agricultural products in Lake County are $150
- Allied Industries: $50.
For those companies which provide products or services to growers,
ranchers and packers, who recognize that success of their customers
will bring prosperity to allied industries.
- Allied Consumer: $35.
We invite regional consumers to show their pride and support local
farmers. Farmers' Finest wishes to include consumers in meetings,
promotional, educational, and celebratory events. Allied Consumers
receive our newsletter.
