During my childhood
in Vallejo, California, I developed a fascination with growing which has
blossomed into Jaguar Gardens Nursery located in Lower Lake, California.
Jaguar Gardens specializes in plants selected to grow in this region. Most
plants are grown from seed or propagated from cuttings. As a small nursery I
am able to carefully monitor the quality and success of each variety of plant
grown. For my customers that means they can feel confident that plants
purchased from Jaguar Gardens are appropriate for their growing area and are
of top quality.
Additionally, my certified wine grape rootstock, cultivated and grown on
site, offers backyard growers an opportunity to start their own
vineyards.
Stevia is a plant of particular interest to me. This plant, with
"0" calories and 50 times more sweetness than sugar is used as a
dietary supplement and rightly called, "natures sweet secret". I
have been growing Stevia for three years to meet the ever-growing demand for
this plant.
